- Download the updated version (v3.4.4 or newer) from the official community source (Reddit’s r/GenP is the canonical verification hub).
- Extract the ZIP using 7-Zip or WinRAR. Do not run from within the zip.
- Close all Adobe applications – including the Creative Cloud launcher (right-click system tray → Exit).
- Run the
GenP.exe as administrator.
- Click the "Search" button. The tool will scan your drives for Adobe installations (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Bridge, Lightroom, Media Encoder).
- Review the list. Uncheck any apps you don’t want to patch.
- Click "Patch" . Wait 30-60 seconds.
- Critical step: After patching, click the "CCP Protector" tab in GenP and enable all blocks. This prevents Adobe from re-downloading the genuine licensing files on reboot.
