  1. Download and install UAE on your computer.
  2. Configure UAE to use the Workbench 1.3 ADF file as a disk image.
  3. Boot the Amiga emulator and navigate to the Workbench 1.3 desktop.
  4. Insert a blank disk image into the emulator's disk drive.
  5. Use the Amiga's built-in " Disk Copy" tool to copy the contents of the original ADF file to the blank disk image.
  6. Save the new disk image as a repacked ADF file.

  2. Depack all .lzx/.lha/.xfd files inside C/, L/, Libs/:

  3. Remove printer drivers (Devs/Printers/), unused locale catalogues (Locale/).
  4. Add your favorite tools (e.g., CLI aliases, NOP).
  5. Rebuild disk layout – keep disk.info and bootblock standard.
  6. Create new ADF (blank 880KB) and copy files preserving info files.
  7. Test boot in emulator.

Avoid "self-booting" repacks that modify the startup-sequence to load a game selector—those are not pure Workbench environments.
