• You build a wall in English Archicad: Layer = "A-WALL-EXTR"
• You switch to Polish Archicad (Language Pack): The Layer panel now says "Warstwy" (UI translated), but the layer name remains "A-WALL-EXTR" because that is project data, not interface data.

Library Localization: Library objects now contain knowledge of all supported languages, adapting default settings (size, surface, etc.) based on the project template rather than the software version used. You build a wall in English Archicad :

• If your OS is Spanish, but you installed the English ArchiCAD, the software remains English.
• If you install the Japanese language pack but keep your OS in English, ArchiCAD runs in Japanese.
• How it works: ArchiCAD checks its own registry keys or settings.xml file, not the system locale (except for number/decimal separators, which are OS dependent).
