Installation Instructions

  1. Turn on ignition (engine not required).
  2. Press the "NAV" button on the RNS-E unit.
  3. Press "SETUP" (or "MENU") and locate the "Version" or "System" menu to confirm the current map DVD version.
  4. Eject the old navigation DVD by pressing the eject button (next to the DVD slot).
  5. Insert the 2013 Central East Europe DVD into the slot (label facing up, usually).
  6. The system will automatically read the disc and display a confirmation message: “Navigation data is being loaded…”
  7. After loading (30-60 seconds), a prompt may ask you to confirm the new map region. Select “Accept”.
  8. Note: Your stored destinations and home address may be lost. It is advisable to note them down before changing DVDs.
