Mastering Ayatul Kursi with Tajweed: A New Approach to the Throne Verse
Ayatul Kursi (Verse 255 of Surah Al-Baqarah) is widely regarded as the greatest verse in the Quran. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) described it as the "chief of all verses." For centuries, Muslims have recited it for protection, blessings, and spiritual strength.
4. Iqlab (لَا تَأْخُذُهُ)
- When the word "Laa ta'khudhu" has a Noon Saakinah followed by a "Baa" or "Mim", it changes to a "Mim" or "Baa" sound respectively.
- مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ – This is Ikhfa, not Idghaam.
- مِّن كُرْسِيِّهِ – Actually, the text reads: بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ (Bishay’im min). Here the Noon Sakinah in Min meets a Meem (م). This is Idghaam Mislain (identical merging). The Noon is completely absorbed into the Meem, producing a doubled Meem sound (مّ) with Ghunnah.
