Report: Downloading Updated SolidWorks Flow Simulation
If you already have SOLIDWORKS installed, this is the fastest way to get the latest service pack for Flow Simulation.
- Choose the latest SP (example: 2026 SP1.0). Avoid “Pre-release” or “Alpha” versions.
- For language, select English – International (includes all solver dictionaries).
- For architecture, choose x64.
- Capability: The solver can now better predict phase change in pumps and valves.
- Improvement: The algorithm handles the sharp density gradients associated with the formation and collapse of vapor cavities with greater stability, reducing solver divergence during transient cavitation studies.
- Uninstall the previous SolidWorks version (recommended but not mandatory).
- Run the new installer.
- During Installation Options, ensure SolidWorks Flow Simulation is checked under the add-ins list.
- Complete the installation and activate with your new serial number.
Check Add-ins: Ensure the feature is active by going to Tools > Add-ins and checking SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation.
If the automatic update fails, you can download the full package.
