Step 3: Reset the Waste Ink Counter

1. In the main menu, click “Particular adjustment mode” (different versions label this as “Specific Adjustment”).
2. From the list, select “Waste ink pad counter” or “Ink Pad Counter”.
3. A new window will appear with a checkbox labeled “Main pad counter” and “Platen pad counter”.
4. Check both boxes (the ET-2550 uses two counters).
5. Click the “Initialize” or “Reset” button.
6. A confirmation dialog will appear: “Are you sure you want to initialize the counter?” – Click Yes.
