The Hearto-1g1r-collection is a specialized curation of video game ROM sets designed for preservation and ease of use in emulation. Created by the user "heartolazor," it focuses on the 1G1R (One Game, One ROM) standard, which streamlines massive library sets by retaining only the single best version of each title. 4) Quality assessment & triage
High priority for conservation: items with unique provenance, physical degradation, or sole copies.
Digitization candidates: physical items not yet digitized — assign resolution/format standards (images: 600–1200 ppi TIFF; documents: 300–600 ppi searchable PDF; audio: 96 kHz/24-bit WAV).
Redundancy checklist: verify duplicates, near-duplicates; mark canonical master files.
Integrity checks: run checksums, validate file formats, repair corrupted metadata.
