ILPI354 VA Schematic Updated
The ILPI354 VA schematic has been updated to improve power delivery and simplify layout for modular LED driver applications.
How to Use the Updated Schematic for Common ILPI354 VA Failures
1. No Power, No LED
- Check: Fuse F101, bridge rectifier BD101.
- In updated schematic: Follow the new highlighted path from AC input to IC901 (PWM). The corrected VCC trace now helps distinguish between startup circuit failure vs. shorted IC.
Examine the pins of large components (transformers, connectors) for cracks or dullness, which can cause intermittent connection issues. 3. Basic Diagnostic Steps
Primary Section (Hot Side): Features a bridge rectifier and a large filter capacitor. This section converts AC mains to high-voltage DC.
- Old value: 1MΩ each.
- Updated value (Critical fix): 920kΩ each (1% tolerance). If you use 1MΩ, the FAN7530 thinks the voltage is too high and shuts down. Change these to the updated value immediately.
