Scenario B: You don’t own the hardware (Software only)

• Download the ER-1 VST Emulator (Available on GitHub or KVR Audio).
• Win: Extract the .dll to C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins. Rescan in your DAW.
• OSX: Copy the .vst or .component to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST (or Components). If your DAW says "Plugin not validated," open Terminal and run: sudo spctl --master-disable (temporarily) or use Plugin Val (free utility).
