Soul Reaver 2 (Remastered – UPD content)

• Plot evolution: Raziel pursues Kain across different historical eras of Nosgoth — before vampirism, during the human-vampire wars, and at the dawn of the Hylden civilization.
• The Grand Deception: The Elder God is not a god, but a parasitic time-loop entity. The vampires (including Kain) were actually trying to break His cycle of mass death and rebirth.
• Ultimate irony: Raziel learns he is destined to enter the Reaver blade at the moment of its creation, sacrificing himself to become the very weapon that haunts him. Kain, seeing this, refuses to allow fate to repeat — and for the first time, spares Raziel, breaking the loop.
