Magic Earth User Manual -
I have selected the "Head-Up Display (HUD) Mode" as the feature to detail, as it is one of the unique selling points of this specific app.
Troubleshooting
- Download fails or stalls: ensure enough free storage, restart app, retry on stable Wi‑Fi.
- Search returns no results offline: confirm the area containing the POI is included in the downloaded package.
- Voice guidance missing: check offline voice pack is downloaded and selected in Voice options.
- The Manual says: Go to Menu > Layers > Traffic. Green means smooth; Red means parking lot.
- Note: To send traffic data (to help others), you need to allow the app to use your location in the background. You can deny this; you will still receive traffic info, you just won't contribute.
- Open the app and tap the Main Menu (three horizontal lines in the top-left corner).
- Select Manage Maps.
- You will see a list of continents and countries. Tap the Download icon (a cloud with an arrow) next to the regions you need.
- Tip: Download maps over Wi-Fi to avoid using your mobile data cap.
Storage Management: In the same menu, you can see how much space your maps occupy and delete those you no longer need. magic earth user manual
