1. Remove batteries.
2. Unscrew the single screw under the battery cover.
3. Carefully pry open the clamshell.
4. Take the rubber keypad and the green circuit board.
5. Clean the green board with a pencil eraser (lightly rub the gold contact fingers).
6. Clean the rubber pads with a q-tip and 91% isopropyl alcohol.
7. Reassemble. This fixes 90% of "dead" remotes.
