1. Turn on the device you want to program (e.g., your TV).
2. Press and hold the SET button until the red indicator light illuminates (or stays solid), then release the SET button. (On some versions, press the device key like "TV" first, then hold SET).
3. Aim the remote at the device.
4. Press the POWER button on the remote.
