Guide — Using save games for SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain with PCSX2

Overview

This guide shows how to load/save progress (memory card saves and save states) for SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain (PS2) using PCSX2 on Windows/macOS/Linux, and how to import exported save files (from Battles or the web) into PCSX2 so the game recognizes them.

  • Reverse (PS2 → PCSX2): dump the PS2 memory card to a file and place it as mcd001.ps2 in PCSX2 memcards folder.
