2. The Wardrobe: From Sarees to Sneakers

Fashion is the most visible marker of change.

Rural Women: Often manage grueling daily routines, starting before sunrise to fetch water, manage livestock, and cook on traditional stoves. They have higher workforce participation (roughly 25%) but mostly in unpaid or informal agricultural labor.
