Look for "Chrome Polished" vs "Brushed Aluminum." The former uses a constant reflection; the latter uses an anisotropic rotation and a falloff map to simulate brushing.
- Fabrics (The SSS Challenge): Standard fabrics (Cotton, Linen) use falloff maps for velvet effects. However, the library's "Leather" and "Felt" categories utilize VRayStochasticFlakes or VRayFur in the bump slot to simulate micro-surface texture without heavy geometry.
