Alternative: Using Linux or macOS with Kasens KS-G5000

  • Linux: The adapter typically uses the rtl8812au or rtl88x2bu driver. You can install it via terminal: sudo apt install rtl8812au-dkms (on Debian/Ubuntu).
  • macOS: Drivers are rare. You may need to use a virtual Windows machine or purchase a macOS-native adapter. Kasens does not officially support macOS.
