Www.etis.ford.com Fordservice — Plus

Ford has decommissioned its traditional ETIS (www.etis.ford.com) platform, transitioning technical information, service schedules, and Digital Service Records to the new Ford Service Info portal. Vehicle owners and independent repairers must now utilize the updated FSI site or the FordPass app for repair procedures, diagnostic data, and vehicle history. For more details, visit Ford Service Info Resources. Ford Service Info Resources

  1. Mileage Consistency: Compare the production date and tire size with the odometer. While ETIS does not report mileage directly, you can cross-reference the build date with vehicle history reports.
  2. Hidden Recalls: A seller may claim “all services are up to date.” Use ETIS to see if any safety recalls remain open. If the recall status reads “Open,” the vehicle is not fully serviced, and the repair is free at any Ford dealer.
  3. Accident Repair Detection: ETIS will not list collision repairs. However, it will list warranty body repairs (e.g., corrosion perforation repairs). If you see body panel replacements listed, inspect further.
  4. Option Verification: A shady dealer might claim a truck has the “Max Tow Package” or a “Performance Pack.” ETIS shows the exact axle ratio, cooler specifications, and suspension codes. There is no better tool for verifying factory options.

Important Note: Ford has been migrating some ETIS functions to newer platforms (like FordPass and PTS – Professional Technician System). However, as of this writing, www.etis.ford.com remains the most openly accessible tool for non-dealer users to retrieve comprehensive factory data. www.etis.ford.com fordservice
