3. How to update LUTs inside your editing software (Premiere, Resolve, FCPX)
- Premiere Pro: Replace the old
.cubefile in your project → reapply the effect or relink. - DaVinci Resolve: Go to Color → LUTs → update the folder path or re-import.
- FCPX: Use LUT Utility or Motion to replace.

- Back up your old LUTs: Store the previous version folder on an external SSD.
- Download the UPD pack: Ensure you downloaded from the official Phantom LUTs portal (check your email for the update link; often titled "Legacy v3 Update").
- Re-format your SD card for the Sony slot (exFAT).
- File Path: Place the new .cube files in the
Sony > PRO > LUTfolder. Note: The UPD removes the old "Phantom Neutral" and replaces it with "Phantom Natural 4.0". - Load to Camera: Using the "Import LUT" function, you must re-assign the LUTs to your viewfinder or SDI output. The old presets will be grayed out.
